SERPENT SEAWEED PITCHER By E. Jones, Cobridge
This pitcher stands 6.5” high with a max width of 7”. The body is covered with an attractive design of branching seaweed on a white stippled Pin Point background. It has a wide pouring spout and neck with a flared wavey edge rim. The serpent shaped handle grips the rim edge. The base is mpressed “Published by E. Jones, Cobridge, September 1, 1836. There is a faint hairline crack to the spout, otherwise the jug is in very good condition with any wear commensurate with age.
